Business mission to the United Arab Emirates

The trade conditions and the high purchase power mark the Emirates as a very attractive market.

Market Access is currently in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with private companies and with the business association NERLEI. Although the specific objectives vary, the main purpose of the mission is to put them in contact with relevant local players. In addition to promoting business opportunities, these visits allow a more in-depth knowledge of the market, not only through direct contact with potential partners, but also with competition, other relevant entities and, equally importantly, with the local culture.

Despite having only 9.4 million inhabitants, the UAE was the 18th largest importer in the world in 2017 and currently occupies the 17th place in the Global Competitiveness Index 17/18 and the 21st position in the Doing Business Report 2018. Its high GDP per capita and the economic dynamism represent other very eye-catching factors. With the organization of the Expo Dubai 2020, the UAE is investing even more, especially in infrastructure, which will boost even further its economic activity.
