Enterpreneurial Mission to Japan

Market Access will support ANIVEC/APIV in the organization of an enterpreneurial mission to Tokyo, Japan.

ANIVEC/APIV - the Portuguese National Association for the Clothing Industry - is promoting an enterpreneurial mission to Tokyo, one of the main fashion centers worlwide. 


The mission will be held under the frame of the internationalization project "Global Market Strategies 2010", with the support of FEDER regional funds.  





Its main goal are: 

  • Identifying business oportunities in the japanese market; 
  • Getting to know the mains distribution channels in the japanese fashion market; 
  • Establishing direct contacts with the demand; 
  • Identifying trends for the fashion industry; 
  • Evaluating the market-entry potential for the participant companies 

  • In addition to meetings with importers and other players of the industry, the participants will have the opportunity to take part in the "Tokyo Fashion Tour", a guided tour specially designed to explore the most fashionable and trendy districts of Tokyo, including visits to some of the most innovative shops and retail areas of the city. 


    The mission will last 4 days and will be organized by Market Access.
