2011-09-01
The AICCOPN (Construction and Civil Engineering Association) promotes the international trade mission targeted to Brazilian market. The mission will take place between October 25-29th and is organised by Market Access - Brasil.

Brasil is currently in an expansion phase at all levels of operations. The GDP in 2010 grew by 7.5%. This increase is followed by an increase in export, employment and disposable income indicators. The main objective of Brazilian government within the PAC programme is to prioritise the infrastructure. Throughout the programme, the investments of R$ 1.5 bln have been provided together with hosting two major global events: the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics. The priority of the CAP2 consists of the logistics, energy and social development aspects formulated through six major iniciatives: Cidade Melhor (urban infrastructure),Comunidade Cidadã (security and social inclusion), Água e Luz para Todos (sanitation and electricity access),Minha Casa, Minha Vida (affordable housing), Energia (electricity, oil and gas) and Transporte ( roads, railways and airports).

Market Access´s responsibility is to organise a set of sessions bringing together companies and government institutions and federal agencies. This will allow the participants to establish direct contact for potential market evaluation and further development of business operations in the Brazilian market.
